This is the first time I have gotten this close with a stray bird. The bird was very calm while I was taking photos - I took about 10 different shots in different angles, he didn't even move an inch the whole time, but guess what, he suddenly started to move and then flew after I stood up!
Seriously, I would have freaked out if it had moved while I was still in my kneeling position!
