Project Code: KRE House

Japanese Architect Takuya Tsuchida response to the client's brief resulted to the KRE House - “I want a 9 car garage and be able to enjoy viewing one of them in the living room.” and "Oh, the living room needs a tall tree"




Seems like the brief is simple, but how do you manage to this with 2000 square feet of land, in the most populous part of Tokyo?









So from the garage, an elevator was installed that leads directly to the living room. With this, you are also able to alternate the featured car in your living room.

I guess as designers, we are always puzzled when we receive the brief from the client. It can go as crazee as this, but the real challenge is the final outcome. Always have been very inspiring! :P
